Harvest Moon

I think the Harvest Moon will be visible Sept 18 here in Muskoka

“A Harvest Moon is a term for the full moon that occurs closest to the autumnal equinox,” explains Gina Ressler, a meteorologist at The Weather Network.

The phenomenon got its name from a time in agriculture. Before electric lights were created, farmers relied on the moon’s glow to continue their work day in the field.
