Too bad we could not get a time lapse here..but this is where the dragon-fly spends its first life.  So..don’t knock them off your cottage wall until the shell is empty.

So about two weeks ago we got the picture of the dragon-fly leaving its first life..it took about a 5 hrs to get this far..unwinding from its host..and it will be another 1/2 day to dry out and fly away….If you look close you can see the oooz..between it and its bug shell….must have a sore back..
