This deal has floated up on shore..it is at the west end of the lake…just to the right last bay
The West Bay
Leonard Lake is a beautiful headwater lake that drains into Lake Muskoka, but this last stretch of natural shoreline on the lake, along with endangered species habitat and prime wetland is in danger of being lost.
I tried this several times this summer and wow! This trick is so good, I almost want to buy a pizza and not eat till the 2nd day. The procedure works with frozen and fast food bought…2nd day pizza. When you take your time to save that last piece, instead of throwing it out, for day two tells how good it is.
Get BBQ warmed up on LOW…place pizza on bottom rack for 5 minutes lid closed…..then place pizza on upper warming rack for a further 5 minutes..lid closed…eat when temperature gets below burning your mouth. ……..only qualified BB-Q ist should do this..as it can be dangerous and cause death or burn down the cottage.
This may not work with a loaded pizza..as you can see mine are plain.
To each his own..but to me its good.
On a quest to further keep track of Brandy Lake we need to thank BLA board member Moreen Miller President of Fowler for donating some survey time to help Brandy Lake Association. The survey was completed about a month ago with the water just below the tree line. The cost would have been in the thousands for sure.
The measuring base line start was at the 118 bridge…(Outlet Bay) and continued with pings every meter down the river to the beaver dam. I think the measuring was also taken at the Muskoka Lake entrance
Further measuring was taken top and bottom of the existing “beaver baffler pipe” to ensure the new pipe is placed in the same location per MNRF instructions.
The pipe picture is the original install, I was involved with…about 15 years ago
And a picture of Moreens crew at work.
